The ISFDB Web site came under a concentrated bot attack on Thursday, February 12, 2026 around 6am server (EST) time. We began deploying countermeasures in the afternoon. It may take another 24 hours or so for the new settings to be set up and propagated across the internet. Sorry about the interruption!

Hello I often use the site and for some reason I have been blocked. Is there any way to resolve this? I live in china currently and use vpns to access the wider net. Perhaps this prompted the block
The bots that were attacking our site were primarily coming from Singapore and we had to block that country. Your VPN may be using a Singapore-based address, which would be preventing you from accessing the site. Perhaps a different VPN may not have the same problem.
